Bob Dougherty
My garden is so beautiful,
A palace of delight!
A place of spiritual pleasure,
It’s dazzling day and night.
Beauty means little to creatures,
They live to breed or eat.
You can curse at their existence,
This leads to your defeat.
Yet, humans are intelligent,
Garden with synchrony.
Plants and creatures can coexist,
Nature in harmony.
A gardener’s constant challenge,
Is nature has its way.
Selection, timing, and planning,
Will ultimately pay.
