Water trickles down a slope,
Gathering strength and force.
With volume the effect is seen,
Carving a channel from its source.
Yet water alone forms not a river,
The land applies shape to course.
Time trickles by a child,
With age time speeds its course.
Good and bad events sweep past,
Pleasant memories and remorse.
Yet time alone molds not a soul,
Character is life's guiding source.
Time like a river always flows.
Some people struggle others see.
A river’s power comes as it falls,
And calms as it reaches the sea.
A person’s life shapes with time,
And rises when the soul is free.
